Four Patterson Clippers scored in double figures, led by Dawan Bass’ 11th double-double, as they defeated Dunbar, 70-58, in a 2A North Section I Semifinal.
The Clippers (19-4) advance to face Western Tech in the Section I Final tomorrow at 5 p.m. at Patterson.
Bass finished with 18 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks, notching his second double-double against Dunbar this season. Rysheed Corbin had 16 points and six rebounds; Dereck Oliver had 13 points and five assists; and Kwynten Brooks had 11 points, six rebounds and five assists.
Patterson had one of its better shooting nights on the year, finishing 24 of 48 (50 percent) from the field and 20 of 25 (80 percent) from the free throw line. The Clippers led by as many as 18 points in the first half and went into halftime leading 37-23.
Desmond Brown (four points), Christion Adams (six points) and Fortune Okigweh (two points) rounded out the scoring for Patterson.
