Patterson defeats Perry Hall, 84-65

Patterson used a balanced scoring effort and opportunistic defense to race past Perry Hall in 84-65 victory over visiting Perry Hall.

For the second straight game, Rysheed Corbin led the Clippers in scoring. He had 23 points and chipped in six steals and five rebounds. But Corbin wasn’t the only one scoring for Patterson, which through two games is averaging 79.5 points.

Six others had nine or more points on Friday night: Dawan Bass (12 points), Tyquan Pointer (11), Dereck Oliver (10), Kwynten Brooks (10), Daquan Jones (9) and Fortune Okigweh (9).

Bass and Brooks had another solid all-around game. Each chipped in seven rebounds. Bass added four steals and Brooks added three assists. Oliver led the team with five assists.

Patterson is back in action on Saturday against Owings Mills at Laurel High School.
