Playing in their last home game, Patterson’s seniors combined for 42 points in a 79-63 win over Forest Park.
Before the game Patterson honored Travonn Barnett, Shakir Brown, Devin Hebron, Anthony Lee, Leonard Livingston and Nyme Manns. Each then played a role in the Clippers’ sixth win in the last seven games.
Manns notched his fifth double-double this season with 11 points and 16 rebounds. Hebron had 10 points; Brown had eight points and seven rebounds; Lee had nine points; Livingston had four points, six rebounds and five blocks; and Barnett had a steal and a rebound.
Patterson (14-6) led the entire way and finished with its largest margin of victory in nearly a month.
Aquille Carr led all scorers with 23 points, adding six assists and four steals. The Clippers also got a solid effort from Dereck Oliver, who made all three of his field goal attempts and finished with seven points.
For Forest Park, Anton Waters had 21 points and 17 rebounds. But Patterson held its opponent to 1 of 16 from 3-point range and forced 22 turnovers.
The Clippers close out the regular season on Thursday at Carver. With a win they will advance to the City Championship next week at Morgan State.
