Aquille Carr scored a game-high 36 points, but sophomore sensation Isaiah Whitehead and Lincoln (N.Y.) pulled out a 71-66 overtime victory over Patterson in front of more than 2,000 fans at Towson.

Carr made 10 of 17 shots from the field, 16 of 20 free throws and had six steals for the Clippers (4-1), who trailed much of the way–and by as many as seven points in the fourth quarter.

But Myrek Lee-Fowlkes (15 points) hit two free throws to give Patterson a one-point lead with a minute left and Shakir Brown made a 3-pointer from the corner with eight seconds left to tie the game at 63 and send it to overtime.

Whitehead, however, ensured Lincoln (5-0) traveled back to Brooklyn with the victory. He had 25 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Travis Charles added 14 points and five rebounds.

Devin Hebron had six points and seven rebounds for Patterson, while Leonard Livingston had four blocks.

Patterson is back in action Monday night at home against City College. Fans are encouraged to bring canned goods and nonperishable items that the team will donate to a local shelter this holiday season.
