Patterson established a double-digit lead minutes into its home opener against WEB DuBois and cruised to a 76-38 victory.
Patterson (4-0) went up 16-2 at one point in the first quarter and led 43-19 at halftime before its reserves played much of the second half. The Clippers held DuBois to 27 percent shooting from the field and forced 29 turnovers, a season high.
Shakir Brown led Patterson with 15 points. He also added nine rebounds and three steals. Leonard Livingston notched his first double-double of the season, chipping in 10 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks.
Freshman Dereck Oliver, making his second start, had 10 points, four assists and four steals. Aquille Carr added 13 points and three assists. Nyme Manns had six rebounds and Travonn Barnett had four rebounds to help the Clippers to a 13-rebound advantage over DuBois.
Patterson returns to action tomorrow night against undefeated Lincoln (N.Y.) at Towson. Tickets are still available for $10 by contacting coach Bell (see coach section for phone number) or they can be purchased for $12 at the door.
